A Look Into The World of Robotics
Robotics is a type of technology. This type of technology deals with automated machines that can perform the job of a human.
Robots are most commonly used to take the place of humans in dangerous environments or in manufacturing processes.
Another place we see robotics being used is outside the Earth's atmosphere. It is dangerous for humans to get to space, to be in space and to return from space, so clearly outer space is a good fit for robots.
Robots are not only used for dangerous situations, they are also used routinely to carry out many tasks that people don't want to do because they are boring or dirty. After all we must remember that they are mechanical devices programed to perform specific repetitive functions.
