Google Drive is a great set of online cloud apps that allow you share and collaborate work with others. There are a variety of apps that alow you to create anything from a form or document to a spreadsheet or presentation. 






Google Drive is a great place to start integrating technology into your class. With the variety of tools included in the package, their is a multitude of ways to deliver multimedia content to students. With the ability for any number of people to work on a document at one time, it gives students with difficulties working in groups the ability to contribute to an assignment without the anxiety of the social interactions. With video chat and messaging built in to the document space, it is very easy to collaborate from anywhere in the world, great for distance learning. There is also a host a third party apps that you can connect to drive to create and show videos, edit pictures or create math equations. 

Drive has an age restriction of 13. 




Bitstrips is a web app where students can design short comic strips. There is a wide variety of themes and characters to create educational comics. 





Bitstrip is a good tool for students who have trouble expressing themselves in a prose or other written way. There are built in scaffolds in the tool as well. The themes and stock images make it easy for students to express themselves. 

Students can use this tool to make comics about characters, history and more. There is no age limit on Bitstrip with teacher or parent permission.



Audioboo is an audio recording and listening app. You can create an account to get access to thousands of podcasts and audio clips in hundreds of topics and subjects. You can follow people or subjects similiar to twitter or google+.


Audioboo is a great way to to create short or long audio clips and just as easy to share. The applications in the classroom are plenty. Audioboo gives the students an easy way to create and share thier creations as well as thousands of podcasts to listent to. Audioboo gives the teacher the ability to embed podcasts and clips onto other LMS's and websites giving the students easy access. Audioboo is a great tool for flipped classrooms. Audioboo allows students with writing disablities or perhaps motors issues to expess and share their ideas hassle free. There is a 13 year old age requirement to use Audioboo unless it is par of a school initiative.
