The Sad Puppy

One morning, Boston the dog realized his family was loading up the car with suitcases. Boston thought that maybe they were going back to the beach like last summer. He hopped in the front seat and began to daydream about running in the warm sand, along the water.
Boston's family laughed when they saw him sitting in the front seat. The mom put Boston inside and said, "Be a good boy, we'll be home soon". Boston was so sad.
Boston layed in his bed for hours. He didnt feel like playing or going outside like he usually enjoys. He didnt want to stay home with a sitter, he wanted to be with his family.
All of the sudden, Boston heard the front door open. He jumped up to see who could be there.
Boston saw his parents standing in the doorway. He was so excited, he jumped up on dad smothering him in kisses. His dad said "oh Boston, I told you we would be right back. We took the kids to Grandma's for the week!"
Boston was so glad his family did not leave him after all.
