Grammarly is a Web 2.0 tool that focuses on correcting grammar and can be used as a "personal grammar coach". This is an effective tool because it can pinpoint the problem area regarding punctuation, contextual spelling and other grammatical errors that can not be detected using microsoft word. In addition, this unique web 2.0 tool can detect plagiarism as well as provide suggested synonyms that can be used in the context of the writing. 

In the setting of a junior high class, this tool could certainly come in handy for educational purposes because it allows students to become self-aware of their mistakes in writting. As well, this tool removes barriers of writing tasks in which gramatical errors and wording impedes the communication of the central message of the project.

Grammarly is a user-friendly tool for most ages at which writting is a skill. Used in the educational setting, this tool is easy for students  of the junior high level to use in class or independantly.

Storyjumper is a Web 2.0 tool that can be used by junior high students to channel creative thought by creating digital stories. Students can create their stories and share them with peers if a teacher enables classroom editions. 

This can be an effective educational tool because it enables students of any age to practice writting skills in a way that engaging. 

In addition, storyjumper removes barriers related to creative expression. Students are able to write on any topic, use topics templates and participate in online group brainstorming.

Prezi is a Web 2.0 tool that can effectively be used for presentations, stories, resumes, and infosheets. With this tool, users can create engaging presentations using text, pictures, and videos. Prezi also has a unique feature of going to from slide to slide which makes it more engaging for its audience. 

Ideally, prezi could be used for in-class presentations while at the same time removing the barriers of communicating only through text and speaking. Photos and videos in the presentation can enable students to reduce the amount of text. As well, it can reduce the amount students read directly form the screen.

Prezi is a Web 2.0 tool that can be used by all ages and is certainly an engaging strategy to integrate various media into presentations. This would be a great tool for junior classes to use various subjects.

The three web 2.0 tools explored - Grammarly, Storyjumper, and Prezi - are great interactive tools. Not only do these tools make learning engaging, they take away barriers which were previously problematic. 

Junior high students will enjoy experimenting with these tools because they are easy to use, but they also provide more freedom and opportunity for creativity through the use of different media.
