udutu allows users to create their own online courses. In an education environment this will be useful for students who prefer to create visual or multimedia projects. The lessons can be text heavy or udutu allows for different media to be included. udutu can also be used collaboratively which is good for students who are more successful when working with others.

cram.com is a tool that allows users to create their own flashcards for any subject. The flashcards can be accessed from a computer, tablet or smart phone. 

This tool will benefit any student with organizational issues. cram.com will also assist any student who benefits from putting the lesson into their own words.

Basecamp also has a plethora of third party add-ons that give the tool even more versatility.

There are no age restrictions in the terms of service.

Audacity is a perfect tool for students or teachers who want to create audio files. Students who want to record lessons can do so with Audacity. They can also record their own voice notes. Audacity is also great for students who want to record their own music, as they can splice and over lay audio tracks.
