PREZI

Prezi is a presentation platform. It has a wide variety of presentation options. There are options for pre-themed slides for learners that may need more guidance as well as the option for blank slides that can be created in many diverse ways.

This is a great tool for students to be able to present what they know in a very unique way. In Prezi you can upload documents, pictures, videos and music into your presentation.

There is no age limit to be able to use Prezi.

VOICETHREAD

VoiceThread is an app that allows students to have an image or video playing while they are able to discuss, draw and type insights they have similtaniously.

This is a perfect option for an oral presentation without taking up class time. It is flexible enough for students that are not comfortable speaking, they can type their response instead. It allows students to replay the thread as much as they need to gain the information needed, if they were to watch other students projects. Then they can learn at their own pace.

There is a specific web-based communication network for K-12 students to secure a clean network.

EVERNOTE

This is an app that can be used by the same user on multiple devices. Evernote is primarily a note taking app, but it broadens the horizons of what notes mean.

This app allows users to take pictures, voice to text options and type notes that can easily be shared with others. I think these are great additions for online notes so that students can take notes using spellcheck, they can take pictures or add pictures that will inhance their learning.

There is no age requirement to have Evernote.
