  2. From ones, to tens, and hundreds

Now we can let Jhanna, Nicole and Justin go to the public market to buy food for their incoming school luncheon. But there is only one problem... they need help in their shopping!

Jhanna needs to buy 23 bananas for Ms. Albert Class, and 24 bananas for Mr. Rogers Class. She is confuse on how many total bananas should she buy. Do you know how many banana should Jhanna be buying?

Jhanna also promised  to buy 43 oranges for Ms. Clark, her Science Teacher. At the same time, she needs to buy 26 oranges for Ms. Johns ,her Social Studies Teacher. How many total oranges do you think she will need to buy?

Ms. Josey, the school librarian, ask Nicole to buy 38 muffins for the school library night. She also has to buy 13 muffins and 12 donuts for her homeroom class. How many total muffins does she needs to buy?

Justin decide to bring  to cartoons of mangoes to school for the school luncheon celebration. There are 16 mangoes on the first cartoon , and 12 on the other one. Do you know how many mangos will Justin bring to school if he decide to buy the two cartoons of mangoes?

Justin decide to surprise both Ms. Biggs, his math teacher, and Ms. Evans, his music teacher by buying them something from the market. Justin plans to buy 12 cookies and 12 donuts for Ms. Biggs; while 17 cookies and 13 donuts for Ms. Evans. How many total cookies  Justin needs to buy? and how many total donuts Justin needs to purchase?
