A Story About Love and Deceit

There was a young princess named Mariana who lived in the happy village of Shadowshire. She lived in a beautiful castle with her two loving parents, and a small puppy named Rufus. There was about to be a celebration in the village, and Mariana needed to find a prince to take her to the ball.

In order to find her prince, Mariana took Rufus and began a trek around the village to find her beautiful prince. She searched long and hard, but after a whole month of traveling Mariana and Rufus couldn't find a single prince worthy to take Mariana to the ball.

On the way back from their journey, Mariana was stopped by an elderly woman, who noticed how beautiful and happy Mariana was. Rufus followed the two women inside the lady's cottage. Mariana was so stressed, and told the old lady she was a princess and couldn't find anyone to go with her to the ball. WIthout hesitation, the lady replied, "But I am a witch darling. I can turn your puppy into the most handsome man of them all!"

Mariana was confused, but she had never seen magic before and agreed to let the witch transform her beloved pet.

Boom! Fizz! Snap!

With the simple wave of her wand, Rufus transformed into the most handsome prince Mariana had ever seen.

"Now that I have done this for you," the witch said, "you must follow my rules. You must say these three magic words at the stroke of midnight... Wishle washle wee."

"What happens if I forget to say those silly words?" Mariana replied.

"Just don't forget. You mustn't!" Harked the witch.

It was the day of the ball, and Mariana had finally returned to Shadowshire with her new prince. It was hard for them to talk, because her prince was not very quick at speaking English with her. When the two got the the ball everyone stopped and stared. They were the two most beautiful people in the entire village. Mariana and Rufus had the best of times dancing around and enjoying their evening.

"Are you having fun?" Asked Mariana to Rufus.

"Yes, yes, yes!" He quickly replied.

The two were having so much fun, Mariana didn't realize it was already five past midnight. She began to see Rufus slowly transform back into a dog. But this time he wasn't the small cute puppy that he was before. He was a giant, evil, wretched beast. Before she could stop him, Rufus attacked everyone at the ball and ran away as fast as he could.

He left Mariana alone, and she stood there crying amidst the wreckage. She has definitely learned her lesson after all of this. Always listen to a witch when they tell you what to do. Even if it is to say the silly words, Wishle Washle Wee.

The End
