Trench Warfare

During the Civil War, soldiers created a unique way to fight and protect themselves. Soldiers would build walls and dig trenches  to create protective shields  around them with the land. This way of fighting is called Trench Warfare.

Trench Warfare was very useful when soldiers were trying to protect themselves from a large number of men. The trenches were built very strategically  which made it easy for them to kill attacking enemy . These trenches  also created an area to store extra ammunition
