  • Class Marker is a tool that can be used to make online exams (Classmarker.com, 2014).

  • It is very useful in education because it allows educators to create online exams for their students. The tool then marks the exam online so that the student can get quick feedback about their exam. It is also great because it is a paperless way to get students using technology for appropriate purposes (Classmarker.com, 2014).

  • The tools is also great because it can allow learners with motor development problems who may not be able to hold a pen or pencil properly to write or fill in bubbles without going outside of the lines. It also can work on almost any device meaning that it could be collaborated with a different program if "talk to text" or "text to talk" is needed (Classmarker.com, 2014)

  • Class Marker is a tool that educators use much more then students, as the students will just access it and then get off of the computer. For examining purposes any student who is capable of using a computer can use this tool to take an exam (Classmarker.com, 2014)
  • The Class Marker website does not have anything restricting use of the tool due to specific age guidelines. However, in order to use it you do need to sign up for an account. There are a few account options as well where you can sign up for a free educational account (with limitations) or pay a fee to sign up for professional purposes (Classmarker.com, 2014).

  • This web tool allows anyone to create a document, spreadsheet, presentation, form, or drawing online using their google account (Ditch That Textbook, 2014)

  • Google docs is an amazing tool that can be used in education easily because it allows the collaboration of many people working on a single document. When you create a google doc you have the ability to share it with anyone else who has a google email account. You also can allow them to edit the document or just view the document. This works great for group discussions, group presentation, or questions students may have (Ditch That Textbook, 2014)

  • This tool can reduce barriers because it allows the students to work together on something even when they are not in close proximity. Also, it allows people to work on it at anytime and anywhere that an internet connection is available (Ditch That Textbook, 2014).

  • Google documents alone does not have a specific age requirement needed to be met in order to use it. However, in order to access google documents you must have a google account, which does have an age restriction of 13 or older for in Canada and the United States (Support.google.com, 2014).

  • Youtube is a very popular video website that almost anyone can upload a video to. Youtube EDU is a website that is specifically used to hold videos for educational purposes (YouTube, 2014)

  • In an educational setting youtube edu can be used to teach students through videos that were first made with educational purposes. If a student is struggling with something in class and needs help learning, a video from youtube edu may be a different way to show them the problem (YouTube, 2014).

 

  • Since students all have such different learning styles, youtube edu can be used to help those students who are more visual or auditory in learning and simply can't just read and remember something (YouTube, 2014)

  • Since youtube works in conjunction with google, the same terms and conditions of children being 13 years of age apply (Youtube.com, 2014)
