1. Glogster
http://edu.glogster.com/?ref=com
Glogster is a tool that allows users to create virtual posters, combining text, audio, video, images, and hyperlinks and to share them with others electronically.
(Teaching with glogster... 2014)
Students could be asked to create a glog on a topic and share it with teacher and students. This is an alternative to poster presentations.
Students who have difficultly writing and spelling would benefit from this. Also being allowed to use technology for a poster presentation will excite children because it is something different.

2. Animoto
Animoto creates videos from pictures and video clips. It is fast, easy, flexible, and easily shareable ( Animoto, 2014)
Animoto could be used by the teacher to recap concepts in a fun and interesting way. At the start of the year students could create a video to introduce themselves in a unique, fun way. Students could use animoto to present research information to the class.
Animoto can help to remove barriers for learners because it allows students to express themselves verbally, visually, and musically (Bringing lesson to life with animoto, 2014).

3. Voki
Voki allows you to create speaking avatars (customized characters).
Voki can be used as a substitute for presenting in front of class. Students can also use Voki to self edit/proofread. "Student would write paragraph, type into voki.com, listen, and then make changes"
( Young, 2011).
Voki can reduce barriers. If students use voki for presenting its less pressure and you do not have to be stressed about public speaking. Using voki as a proofreader reduces barriers because students do not have to depend on teacher. If student can find and fix own mistakes they can become more independent.
