Animoto

Animoto is a picture video creation tool that can be used in the classroom by all students.Students are able to add their own choice of music and pictures to create video slideshows. This web tool has a variety of different layouts to choose from. It also provides users with a music library which includes a variety of different songs. All of the songs in the music library are pre-licensed and ready for use! Animoto is free and easy to use.

Animoto is a great tool that could be used by students in grade 4-12. The simple to use design makes it accessible to younger students yet attractive to older students. For example, this web 2.0 tool is great for students who have difficulties publically speaking. By using Animoto, they could be able to present an assignment through pictures rather than having to talk about it.

Prezi

Prezi is a great presentation web tool that can be used by students to help present their ideas on a certain topic. This web tool allows students to include pictures and videos in their presentation in a mind map layout. By having this type of layout, students are able to take their audience on through their trip of how the presenter has thought out this topic. It is a great way to keep an audience engaged (and it looks really cool!). Prezi presentations can be made for free and can be accessed by anyone online.

Prezi is a great tool to help individuals who may have ADD or ADHD. The presentations that are created on Prezi could help these individuals keep track with the information through the mind map and help the students understand content better.

Penzu

This web tool can be used by grade 1- 12 students. This web tool is free for everyone and the layout of the web tool makes it seem like the students are writing on paper! Teachers are able to grade a students work and leave comments on their journal entries. Teachers could also create online assignments for students.
