ScreenChomp is an Ipad that allows students and teachers to share videos on a private page on the ScreenChomp app. Teachers can make videos on the app and use the Ipad screen as an interactive whiteboard. Students can come onto the page and watch videos from anywhere when they are needing help for homework. If a student is having troubles with a concept, they can make their own video and post it for their classmates and teacher to view. This app is great tool for education because it allows students and teachers the abilitiy to share class concepts and explainations to students instead of a student just reading their notes and not remembering what they meant. The terms of use state that someone over 18 must agree to the terms of the app so the teacher could agree for all the students or student's parents could.

Bubbl.us is a website that is aimed towards brainstorming and linking ideas or concepts in a web of bubbles. Bubbles can be made different colours to show they belong to a different catagory. The bubbles can be connected with lines to show relationships or connections between the ideas. The lines can have descriptions on them to show what the relationship of the two ideas is.

Bubbl.us could be used by teachers on a interactive whiteboard to organize class ideas for a group activity or as a discovery activity. Students could use it to organize their ideas for a paper, video, or to study for an exam.

This online tool helps reduce barriers for students by giving them more of a visual image of how all of the ideas on the screen are connected or not connected. Students who learn visually would like this tool because it shows all the concepts on one page for them to explore.

There are no age restrictions in the terms of use.

Zooburst.com  is online tool that allows users to make their own 3D pop-up storybook. There are over 10,000 images that can be used to make stories that are appropriate for any age. The stories are stored online and can be shared easily.

Readers who have a camera installed on their computer can also experience any ZooBurst book in Augmented Reality. Using nothing more than a standard webcam, visitors can hold up a special symbol to the webcam to watch as a 3D pop-up book “jumps” out of the paper and into the room around them. In addition, our Augmented Reality mode also allows readers the ability to interact with a book using simple gestures. For example, simply waving your hand in front of a book will allow you to turn its pages back and forth.

ZooBurst could be used in a classroom by both teachers or students. Teachers could use it for small children to tell stories and make the stories come alive. More visual learners can see the characters and audiorty learners can still listen to the story. Students could use it as special project tool in an english class. They can write their stories with a visual representation of the characters and storyline.

The terms of use state that anyone 13 or older with a valid email can sign up.
