Julie wanted to be rich and famous.
So she thought the easiest way to do
this was to become a singer.

She told everyone that once she became famous and made lots of money she was going to buy the biggest house and move far far away.

But Julie couldn't find anyone
that wanted to sing with her
and help her become famous.

Instead of practicing her singing, Julie daydreamed about what type of furniture and paintings she was going to buy for her new house.

Eventually, Julie complained
to her mother. She couldn't
understand why she wasnt living
in her big fancy house yet. So her mother said
"Ah, my child, don't count your chickens before
they are hatched."
