The Jonas Brother is a pop- rock band for teens and tweens. The band is made of three brothers -Joseph Adam Jonas (18), Nicholas Jerry Jonas (15), and Paul Kevin Jonas II (20).

Nick, the youngest, was in a barbershop getting his hair cut one day. Sitting there, he started to sing. A lady heard him and gave him a number of a record company because she loved his voice. Nick got the offer and was signed. Joe, Kevin and Nick wrote a song together that Nick presented to the company. The company loved it and signed all 3 of the brothers. Everyone decided on the name and that is how the legacy of the Jonas Brothers got started.

Growing up as a close and musical family has helped in their rise to fame. On stage and on tour they not only have each other, they have their parents , Denise Jonas (mom) and Paul Kevin Jonas Senior (dad).  The talented brothers also have an extra voice that cheers them on, their younger brother Frankie. Their parents were also singers in their time and have many experiences with touring, fans, and performing they share with the talented brothers.

The Jonas Brothers aren't alone when they are performing on stage. They have John Taylor who plays guitar. They also have Greg Garbowsky who is on bass guitar. On the drums is Jack Lawless. And there is Ryan Liestman on keyboards. Putting on this big of a show almost every night takes many people.  These are only a few of them!

Joseph Adam Jonas

Born on August 15, 1989 in Casa Grande, Arizona, USA, this Jonas Brother's dream wasn't always to be a singer. The 2nd child, Joe ( which is what he is mostly known as) wanted to be a comedian! The most quick-witted of the 3, this Jonas was also attracted to trouble. So his brothers nicknamed him "Danger" and he has lived up to the name ever since. Now he is the lead singer of The Jonas Brothers and loves every minute of it. But he hasn't forgotten his funny side and he still makes everyone crack up with his jokes on tour and on shows!

Joe does various things while he's on stage. He does lead vocals, percussion, guitar, and keyboard. His brothers describe him as the entertainer because he gets the crowd into the mood. He gets them clapping, singing-along and does flips, jumps, and splits too. Joe says he likes to be up front, dancing and singing with the audience.

Nicholas Jerry Jonas

Born on September 16, 1992, in Dallas, Texas, Nick     (as he is mostly known) is the youngest of The Jonas Brothers and second youngest in the family. His passion for music has always been there from starting out at 2 years old in the shower to singing on stage almost every night. Nick has also starred in many Broadway Musicals and commercials before. This Jonas's nickname is "President" because that's Nick's dream and the family feels he has a knack for it. "Running the country has always been my dream," the young star reveals, " so vote for President Nick!"

Unfortunately, this Jonas was dignosed with type 1 diabetes while he was on road. He had made it out with the help of his friends, family and fans. Though he is still diagnosed, he is doing much better and it still out there performing with his brothers every night. Nick says his fans are the ones that help him keep going. They help him get out there every night to put on a great show.

Nick is known as the Jonas with the most variety. He can play many instruments and switches them on stage. He does lead vocals with Joe on most of the songs. He also plays the guitar, piano and drums. Nick's passion has always been music and he is grateful he gets to share his dream with his brothers.

Paul Kevin Jonas II

Born on November 5th, 1987 in Teaneck, New Jersey, Kevin(as known by most people) is the oldest of the four brothers. He is the one all the other brothers look up to. His nickname is his intials, PK2 standing for Paul Kevin the 2nd. Also known as the more romantic of the 3, he has often been gone to for advice on dating.

Kevin is known as the manager of the group. He is the one who double checks to make sure everything is ready to go on stage on performing night. He also gets the brothers ready by running through the songs and stage postitions.

Kevin does guitar, and background vocals. He is the best on the guitar. When writing a new song, Joe is the singer, Kevin is on guitar and Nick chooses whichever instrument fits the song the best.

Kevin is a great role model for his younger brothers. They are always looking up to him, and I feel he sets a great example for them.

The Jonas Family

Parents

Denise Jonas (mom) is a helper on stage, and a mom for life. She is there back stage, minutes before the concert , making sure everything is ready to go. As soon as the show starts, she will be out there with the crowd, screaming along. On the tour bus, she makes sure everything is clean and food is always there on the table. It may sound like an easy job, but Mrs. Jonas is hard at work everyday.

Paul Jonas ( Dad)

Mr. Jonas is a co-founder of Christ For The Nations Music, as well as a pastor at a local church. He is the main manager for the Jonas Brothers. The brothers sometimes joke around and call him a " DAD-ager". He is the JoBro's vocal coach.

Both the parents are hard at work every day, managing their crazy scheldule, dealing with the screaming fans, and chasing down Frankie. They are the boys vocalists, mental coach, co managers, mentors, teachers and number one fan. But most of all, their mom and dad.

Franklin Nathaniel Jonas

Frankie Jonas (8)is also known as the Bonus Jonas because he isn't in the band but is still a Jonas. Born in Wyckoff, New Jersey on  September 28th, 2000. He is home-schooled just like his older brothers because he goes with them on their tours. He plays the guitar, piano and the drums.

Some of Frankie's favorite things to do are riding his bike, wrestling his brothers, and collecting webkinz cards. His favorite food is pizza and his favorite color is red. He says his most favorite song from his brothers is   "That's Just the Way We Roll."

Currently this Bonus Jonas is following in his brother's footsteps. He has created a band with his friends which is called Webline. He is hoping that once his band is famous, his brothers will open up for him!
