This book is informative, fun to read and has a beautiful presentation. The accompanying questions encourage students to think about what they are reading, and to use the pictures to help them understand the text. Additionally, students will benefit from the features that read the text aloud and translate difficult words into Spanish.

This book, “The President of the United States” by: Julia G. Myers, is a valuable means for introducing a unit on the president and his responsibilities. The book is organized in a sequential fashion and the sentences are written in a comprehensible manner. The information included can initiate further education and research. The book has a neat presentation and its vivid pictures directly correlate to the material printed. I recommend this book, “The President of the United States”, for teachers to use as a basis for additional learning.

I liked the format of the book. The concise and specific sentences, few words per page, along with clear pictures make this book a great choice when teaching about the president and his jobs.

I liked this book. It was pretty informative on a child's level.I liked the way all the pictures really corresponded to what the page was talking about. I think though on a second grade level a little more detail could be added.

This book is a wonderful tool to help young students understand who the president is and what his job entails. The clear and accurate photographs make the book crystal clear to all students, and help them visualize what takes place in Washington D.C. I also love the fact that the pictures are all up to date with our current president, because it connects the prior knowledge of the student to the actual book. The only criticism i have is that the text was a little too short and it could have been expanded on just a little bit more. Keep up the great work!

This is a great book for children to read to get an overall understanding of the president's job and who the president is. The real life pictures of the President accurately portray what the text below states thus allowing readers to get a clear understanding of what the text says.
