Owls use their quiet wings, large eyes, and good hearing to hunt their prey or their food.

Owls are raptors. Raptors are birds of prey, which means they eat meat. They grasp their prey with their sharp talons. Owls are known to pounce or sneak up on their prey silently during the night.
