Life Cycle of an Owl

Owls start their life by coming out of an egg.  From an egg, a baby owl or owlet is born.  A mother owl protects her babies in a nest.  As the owlets grow older, they become stronger from getting food from both parents.  When owlets are about two months old, they are able to start flying.  Once the young owls are about five months old, they are able to live on their own.
