There are 4 major Oceans: The largest ocean on Earth is the Pacific Ocean. This covers 30% of our whole planet’s surface. This ocean also has an about 25,000 islands.

The Atlantic Ocean is the 2nd largest ocean. It covers 21% of the Earth’s surface.

The 3rd largest ocean is the Indian Ocean. It covers around 14% of the planet. This ocean is the warmest.

The smallest ocean is the Arctic Ocean. During winter, this ocean almost completely covered in ice!
