Fakebook allows teachers and students to create profiles for historical or fictional characters. It enables you to give your character a name and then build their profile, add friends, posts and comments on their "Fakebook wall." Fakebook is convenient because it allows you to get started and save your work to resume later.

Fakebook would be a great tool for reducing barriers for students who get bored easily. Rather than reading about historical figures in a textbook, students could have the chance to create a profile for these figures instead. Also, Fakebook would assist those who learn from communicating with their peers.

Students could use Fakebook to create profiles of historical and form a debate, chart the plots of a book, or develop characters from a novel in Language Arts.

Fakebook does not have any age restrictions in place.
