Skitch is an app based on drawing, but has the potential to allow students to do so much more. The app features various colors and point sizes, the ability to draw over objects such as pictures, text editing, and the use of shapes. The app allows you to save your image to the camera role to be shared with other services or devices.

Skitch would be a great tool for reducing barriers in the classroom because it allows for multiple methods of expression and can be geared toward all of the diverse learning types. The ability to use images as well as annotate over drawings or handwritten notes would be a great tool to help learners who get bored sitting still and looking at their plain white page of notes. This app allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and develop a passion for the content of which they are learning. A great use for Skitch in the classroom would be when students are learning how to plot curves on a graph for math. Students could create an x, y axis on skitch and plot their points.

Skitch is directed to children 13 years and older and relies on parents and guardians to ensure minors only use the Service if they can understand their rights and responsibilities as stated in these Terms and Privacy Policy.
