Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an amazing tool for math as well, for students from K-12. When the student to it, you get to do a pretest that will evaluate your learning level. When this test is over, the student can practice and improve his or her math skills by trying to go through the exercises proposed by Khan Academy. If they can’t get the answer, there are hints and explanations where they need it. This tool can help kids by letting them go at their own pace and work on what they are struggling with. Plus there are over 2000 videos of great lessons explained in details. It can be useful for students to see a concept from another perspective. They can also ask questions to their peers and answer questions as well. There are videos available for teachers. As a new teacher, it can be really helpful to see how a concept can be explained to make it easier for the classroom.  It can also be used for flip classroom, where the students have to watch the videos at home and then work in class, so they can get help if they need to. To register, the student needs to be 13 and over, but younger kids can have access to it with the parents’ consent.
