Moodle is an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment. Moodle helps educators create online courses with a foucus on interation and collaborative construction of content with a socila function.
Moodle allows educators to have assignment online with allows students access to them whenever they are at a computer. This easy access to course work allows students to be doing assignments almost anywhere at their own pace.
Moodle is great for students that require more time and access to their course work. It allows students to work through their course at their own rate. However, Moodle can cause to be problematic for students that do not have regular access to a computer or students that are very busy with other things in their lives if the teacher decides to use Moodle a lot and the students do not have very much freetime.
Moode has no restrictions for age however the teacher must make a Moodle before the students have access to it.
