When you create a google doc you have the ability to share it with anyone else who has a google email account. You also can allow them to edit the document or just view the document.   • This tool can reduce barriers because it allows the students to work together on something even when they are not in close proximity. Also, it allows people to work on it at anytime and anywhere that an internet connection is available (Ditch That Textbook, 2014).
