In Focus (http://infocus.cc) is a tool that allows you to highlight a specific part of a webpage. You're then provided with a unique URL for the highlighted webpage, which you can share with others.

This would be useful in education because you can share the exact information you want with students. Instead of sending them a link to a page with a bunch of irrelevant information on it, you can highlight the part of the page you want your students to read and send them that instead. Then, the students know exactly what they need to read, and don't waste their time on the rest of the page.

I think this would be especially helpful in a French class, because there are lots of online resources that show how to conjugate verbs (a major part of what your learn in French). However, these resources usually show the conjugations of the verbs in every tense, and in a jr. high class, you would only be focused on one or two tenses. With this tool, you could highlight the tense you want your students to focus on, so they don't get confused by the other tenses.

I think this would be helpful for students who have a hard time focusing or paying attention, or also for students who might get frazzled/overloaded when presented with too much information. This would help them to zoom in on the only information they need to see.

There is no age restriction on this tool, it is free to use, and there is no registration necessary, making it an easy tool for teachers to use.
