Bubbl.us is a website that is aimed towards brainstorming and linking ideas or concepts in a web of bubbles. Bubbles can be made different colours to show they belong to a different catagory. The bubbles can be connected with lines to show relationships or connections between the ideas. The lines can have descriptions on them to show what the relationship of the two ideas is.
Bubbl.us could be used by teachers on a interactive whiteboard to organize class ideas for a group activity or as a discovery activity. Students could use it to organize their ideas for a paper, video, or to study for an exam.
This online tool helps reduce barriers for students by giving them more of a visual image of how all of the ideas on the screen are connected or not connected. Students who learn visually would like this tool because it shows all the concepts on one page for them to explore.
